Capturing striking images from the world around me has been a lifelong pursuit.  I became  active in photography in the mid 1980's, learning the basics of the relationship between light and time on a Pentax manual camera. Since that beginning, I continued an interest in imagery and photography, and in 2000, began the highly unusual experience of working for nearly a decade as a forensic crimes-scene expert, photographing all manner of challenging situations. As a result, I've developed the skill to see multiple layers all at once, and can extract essential detail from the broad view. My images stand apart, as they often capture a feel and spirit of the subject, to provide the viewer with that something extra.

I bring professionalism and enthusiasm to my work; I love photography, but realize that this skill is more than art to the paying client. I have spent a decade meeting deadlines with quality work where taking pictures is concerned. If you decide to hire me to do a portrait session of your family, to take a series of valuable object photography on-site for insurance purposes, to have photos of architecture for real estate sales, or to provide a photo series for a magazine deadline, you'll be getting high quality work with reliable, honest service.  If you like the images you see here, you can visit the products page on this site to arrange to purchase greeting cards, prints, framed prints, posters and other items using my images.

Take a look at the images on this site and see if there's anything that interests you. I have a blog page as well, and am always happy to hear from readers who want to discuss photography techniques or new product reviews. There's always an amazing image just around the corner, and I seem to spend a lot of my time off looking for that image. Sometimes, I find something interesting, and some of those results have made it here to this site. I hope you enjoy your visit,

     Best,

     Chris
